“They have killed our dreams,they have killed everything inside us,Its not our fault.I’m not the only one,it can happen toany child,i don’t want to be married now.i want to continue my education and live my life.”Nada Al-Ahdal said.11 year old Yemen Girl runs from home to escape marriage .Her parents forced her to marry a man who lived in Saudi Arabia. My mother hates me, she just wants me to get married because she will get the money from the man. But I’m not an item for sale, I’m a human being and I would rather die than get married at this age,” explains Nada, with frustration. After a long struggle, Nada’s uncle took her to the Ministry of Interior’s family protection department to carry out investigations on her parent’s allegations.Nada’s Uncle Abdulsalam al-Ahdal is also standing with her and keep her safe from the death threats .

According to NOW News, Her uncle, Abdel Salam al-Ahdal, a montage and graphics technician at a TV station, has protected his niece from being married off twice. Nada’s parents first accepted an offer from a wealthy expatriate, but al-Ahdel intervened and told the prospective groom that Nada was not nearly modest enough for him, in order to “scare him off.”

“When I heard about the groom, I panicked,” he told to NOW news. “Nada was not even 11 years old; she was exactly 10 years and 3 months. I could not allow her to be married off and have her future destroyed.”
