Find, lock, or erase a lost Android device

To use Find My Device, go to the Play Store and install the Find My Device (From Google Play store).After installing this app log in your Google account and ACCEPT permission to allow Find My Device to use location data.In Find My Device dashboard You get to access several Options. The location of your Android device will appear automatically on the map .Play Sound option will cause your device to ring for 5 minutes at the highest volume. Lock option help to lock your android device, Enter your new password twice, add a contact number for anyone who may find your phone and then tap the Lock button.

Its very easy to find our Android mobile(when it’s on silent) If you’ve linked your phone to Google (gmail).If you lose an Android phone, tablet, or Wear watch, you can find, lock, or erase it.For this First search ” Google Play Store ” in your browser.Open   find and sign in to your Google Account.

In Settings you can see find my device ,click and go to  .Here you want to re-enter your password.If you have more than one device, click the lost device at
the top of the screen.

On the map, see about where the device is.
The location is approximate and might not be accurate.
If your device can’t be found, Find My Device will show its last known location, if available.
Pick what you want to do. If needed, first click Enable lock & erase.

Play sound
Rings your device at full volume for 5 minutes, even if it’s set to silent or vibrate.
Locks your device with your PIN, pattern, or password. If you didn’t have a lock, you can set one. You can add a recovery message or
phone number to the lock screen.
Permanently deletes all data on your device. (It might not delete SD cards.) After you erase, Find My Device won’t work on the device.

If you already signed the linked gmail of your android phone in your computer or another mobile phone, Just search ” google find my device ” in your browser .you can you can access this service easily.

To use Find My Device, your lost device must be:

Turned on
Signed in to a Google Account
Connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi
Visible on Google Play
Location turned on
Find My Device turned on
Lost Android Wear devices must also be running Android Wear 2.0 and up.
